Definitely a dodgy call from this number... they said they were from Microsoft. The bloke pretending to be tech support got really annoyed when I didn’t follow his orders... He asked if I was 'wasting his bloody time.' I told him, "Yeah, I'm totally wasting your time and your cash, idiot." He swore a bit and then just hung up!

They kept ringing and saying they were from Microsoft, trying to get me to enter some code on my PC. I told them no and said I had to hang up, then put the phone down. But they kept phoning back like 6 times in just a few minutes. I didn’t pick up after the first one. Felt really unsafe and kinda annoying.

They say they’re from Microsoft’s tech support and tell you there’s a problem with your PC. Then they ask you to download some program so they can access your computer. After that, they lock you out and demand money to unlock it. TOTALLY A RIP-OFF!

I received a call purporting to be from the Microsoft Tech Team. It's absolutely a scam, and if you allow them access to your computer, it could set you back a fair bit of cash! Best to просто hang up! Microsoft doesn’t make these sorts of calls, so do be careful!

No voicemail or message left, just hung up as soon as I answered. This has happened with loads of other numbers too; seem to be all from the same bunch like 02011182887, 02031296276, 02031546415, 02031897062, 02031908785, 02031908791, 02031908792, 02031908793, 02031908957, 02032876261 and many more. This number kept ringing me like 7 times during my journey, some bloke with an Asian accent claiming to be from Microsoft. When I said it sounded like a scam, he started threatening to lock my computer… it kept buzzing. I told him straight up I'm not letting him near my computer and he got all annoyed… then he rang 5 times in a row and I just ignored it. Proper pestering cold caller. When I mentioned his manager could get fined £5000 for cold calling, he threatened again to lock my computer… this number seriously needs blocking for good!!!

There was a long silence then the line was terrible, an Indian woman started with the same old rubbish about being from Microsoft and my PC was at risk. Got a call from someone claiming to be from Microsoft in Reading, saying my computer was infected and hacked. I asked which one and they wouldn’t say. When I asked if all computers were linked, I didn't give an answer. They gave me a Microsoft licence number but it didn’t mean anything to me. This number rang me while I was already on the phone. I ended up calling back but no luck - no reply and the voicemail was jammed. Judging by other reviews I’ve seen, I’m pretty sure it’s a scam. Whenever these scammers call, I like to tell them that if they keep at it, they’re bound for Hell and that God’s got their number noted. Honestly, it gives me a bit of satisfaction. Maybe it messes with their heads a bit, and at least some of them won’t get much rest at night.

02038399969. Total scam, claiming issues with your computer security, probably from some call centre in India. Since my internet security comes from my provider, there was nothing wrong at all. I just hung up straight away. Would suggest everyone else do the same.

Just got another ring from someone claiming to be the Windows Security Team - needless to say, it was a call centre from India. When I said he wasn’t legit, he turned all rude and snappy, so I just ended the call. No genuine security alert ever comes from Windows, Microsoft, Apple, or the like. That’s what companies like McAfee or Norton handle. If you get calls like this, best to hang up straight away and report them. They’re always scams.
