The caller ID showed McMillan! Lucky I didn’t pick up or I’d probably have ended up shouting at them! My mum passed away from cancer about a year and a half ago and even though I’ve been donating monthly, we never got a single bit of support from them! Got two phone calls on my home number. Me and my partner took part in the brave the shave event for Macmillan cancer support, but we only gave them our home contact. Feels like these numbers belong to hackers or dodgy third parties trying something fishy! If you want to avoid annoying calls, I guess you shouldn’t have a phone at all, which is a pain. Having an ex-directory number means it’s not in phone books, but if you’ve ever shared it online, loads of companies can track it down.
