Finally, I picked up the phone yesterday, only to be met with a bloke who kept echoing my 'hello' back at me. I ended the call and swiftly blocked the number!

I recently found myself on the receiving end of calls from a certain individual claiming to represent the NSPCC. Initially, they left a voicemail, which piqued my interest, so I attempted to return the call-only to be met with silence. After several persistent attempts from them, I finally picked up. They promptly inquired if I was interested in making a donation. Politely, I declined, thinking that would be the end of our little exchange. However, to my surprise, the calls kept flooding in for nearly a fortnight, both during the day and late at night! Thankfully, it seems they’ve finally stopped, and I’m hoping that’s truly the last of it.
