I keep getting calls from this number, it’s apparently from the National Childrens Deaf Society. They ring me loads, sometimes on Sundays too, up to four times a day. I reckon it’ll get even worse now since I’m planning to cancel my direct debit!

Who knew there was such a plethora of phone number databases out there? I came across a comment from September 2015 claiming this number is linked to an agency that represents multiple clients. Quite interesting, really!

Got a few missed calls from this number: once on Tuesday 13th March 2018 at around 5:17 pm, then again the next day at 8:17 pm, and twice on Friday 22nd June 2018, once early afternoon and another in the evening. I tend to ignore calls from numbers I don’t recognise, so I missed whatever info they were trying to share that everyone seems keen on. When I searched online, Google only brought up one result, but Qwant showed 36 entries, including some that seemed unrelated! Turns out there’s quite a few databases listing phone numbers, more than I thought. A comment from way back in September 2015 said this number is linked to an agency that handles multiple clients.

Sounds like one of those charities where most of the cash never reaches the actual deaf folks. Honestly, only a tiny bit, maybe 5%, goes to the ones who really need it, so it feels kinda pointless to donate.

It was a call from someone claiming to be 'Global Investments Online', sounded like they were calling from India. They rang my wife's mobile asking to speak to me? No idea how they even got hold of either of our numbers. Anyway, I’ve blocked them now.

i got in touch with the national deaf society and they told me this number isnt theirs. they said some agency was supposed to help spread the word about their mission but definitely not like this. if u havent yet, u should contact the society directly and tell em what’s going on. you can find them on facebook. just so u know, this number aint legit.
