I figured since my number starts with 0203, it must be a London line. When I spoke to the guy, yep, he was Indian and tried to convince me he worked for Microsoft. I wasn’t buying it, so I started grilling him about why their number showed up. He accidentally admitted they had loads of customers. I asked how they knew I was even a customer, and I reckon I made him a bit anxious. I’d tried calling twice before, blocking my number, but was met with silence. Then, when I asked where the company was based, he said America, but when I questioned why he was using a London number, he went quiet. I also asked why he was Indian, and he said he’s based in India, which made me point out I’d basically be paying to call India!
