Warning, this number is definitely a scam! These scammers pretend to be from HMRC, trying to fool people. I really don’t get why this number hasn’t been tracked down yet or why those behind it haven’t been caught. But sadly, I guess it’s probably too tricky for the so-called authorities to handle.

I got a call from someone pretending to be from HMRC trying to trick me into handing over money to them. It's a complete scam, definitely don’t send any cash. I ended up losing £498 before realising it and have reported it now.
