Looks like this might be a real D and G number, but you never know, scammers might be faking it. Never share your details if you get a random call out of the blue. Don’t ever agree to anything or hand over your bank info - that’s just asking for trouble. If you’re after extra warranty insurance, have a proper look at the documents you got when you bought the item. The details should be included there.

Sounds like it’s from Domestic & General insurance for sure. They called me several times but never left a voicemail. When I finally picked up, they said they weren’t allowed to leave a message. They claimed it was a follow-up on something I bought over half a year ago. When I said I wasn’t interested in insuring anything else, they hung up on me quite abruptly. Got a weird call saying it was from Sky, but the person wouldn’t really chat. Kept going on about Sky Glass features but in a really odd manner. The phone cut out halfway through. Wasn’t too suspicious at first, but thinking back it felt off. Sounded fishy but she never got to the “free offers” bit she mentioned. Blocked the number just in case.

After the repair was done, I got my first scam call on my phone. Weirdly, the scammers pretended to be from Domestic and General. Makes me think maybe someone on the inside is having a laugh, using company info to try and scam folks.
