Got a call from this number today, took the call but said nothing. At least they wasted their own time, not mine. Im gonna report this number coz they seem to be keeping info about me without permission, which I think breaks data protection rules.

Got a call from someone called Lauren at the AA legal team about some accident. Just leave it, probably a scam.

Got a call saying they’d been given my “case” about some accident from the past couple years. Total rubbish cold call scam. Can they really make any money off this kind of thing?

I received a call concerning my so-called "accident." When I requested him to clarify, the question morphed into "have you been involved in an accident in the past three years?" To which I retorted, "You dialled my number - you enlighten me!"

And just like that, he disconnected the line.

They rang me but stayed silent. Just blocked them straight away.

Just the same old nonsense as everyone else is facing. I called AA Assist regarding "my incident." I mentioned that a tiny plane grazed my vehicle as it touched down on the M62 by error, but no worries-the aviation authorities are on the case. (What a bunch of muppets!).

I received a call from this number on Wednesday, 20th September 2017, but opted not to pick up. After perusing the other comments, I'm rather relieved that I didn't engage; it seems to be yet another dodgy scam concerning accident claims.

Oh, the familiar nonsense! I received a call from a woman with a West African accent, the connection so dire it was a struggle to hear her. It was evident she wasn't on the phone from London, yet there she was, babbling on about a so-called non-fault car accident. When I replied that I don't even own a car, it momentarily threw her off her script! I seized the chance to mention the Telephone Preference Service, to which she claimed she'd remove my number. As if! I've decided to just block these charlatans altogether.

It’s absolutely infuriating to see individuals like this causing distress. My poor mother, who’s battling dementia, gets hounded by these bothersome calls all the time. It really needs to be dealt with!

This bloke said he was from the AA, chatting about some 'accident' I supposedly had not long ago. I just told him to buzz off and then blocked his number straight away.

This firm keeps ringing me up saying I've been in an accident, and it's been nonstop since last week. I honestly can't figure out how they got my details. Maybe it's from one of those holiday feedback forms we filled out when we got back on the 3rd of Sept but we ticked no marketing so it’s super annoying. On top of that, there’s loads of other cold calls bugging us too - proper pests, all of ’em!

02037735751 rang me but I didn’t pick up since I never answer if I don’t know the number. If it’s important, they can leave a voicemail. No message meant I had a look here and, no surprise, it was a cold call. Blocked it straight away :-)

yet another scam call. they said i was in some small accident, which i’m absolutely sure i wasn’t. ended the call pretty quick after that. told them to never ring me again and then blocked the number.

Just got a call from this number asking for someone called Mr Devani. I told them I had no idea who that was. They said they were from the AA about some accident. When I started quizzing the woman on the phone, she sounded flustered but kept going with her script. Funny thing is, a very similar number, 02036421789, rang me yesterday about an investment supposedly made by the same Mr Devani! Proper annoying this.

Some bloke rang me up claiming I’d been in an accident within the past couple of years. I asked if it was the one in Coventry or Birmingham, and he said Birmingham. Everything I mentioned about the crash, he already seemed to know from some third party reports, even the damage costs and all that. I told him the last time I’d been to Birmingham was like 18 or 20 years ago, and I went by train (which actually was true). Then I told him off a few times, telling him to buzz off and never call again. Admittedly, I made some stuff up, but it was his call in the first place.

So this place, AA Auto Assist or whatever, says they’re UK Insurance Group but I can’t find any of them really exist. I rang them like 15 times and ended up getting told I’m gonna be sued if I call back again, like I was bothering their worker! Honestly, try giving it a go, its pretty funny. Don’t forget to report it to Ofcom as well.

Received a call yesterday which I missed since I was behind the wheel. These folks seem rather dodgy, as though they’re trying to fish for personal account information. Be careful!

These lot are a nightmare, claiming they’ve got your info from some crash you might not have even been in! When you ask where they got your number or who passed it on, they say the road traffic office, which is total rubbish. Then they say they’ll connect you to a senior manager who acts like you’re the one that needs to pay attention to them. Nope, then they just hang up on you. Proper annoying.

I’m encountering the same nonsense that others seem to be getting. I received a message from AA Assist regarding "my accident," which absolutely baffled me since I've had no such incident. When I pointed this out, the representative had the audacity to suggest, "Oh, maybe the name's incorrect." Honestly, it’s so exasperating!

Today, I've been inundated with persistent calls from a number claiming to be AA Assist. When I probed a bit to clarify if they were indeed the Automobile Association, the call handler was rather evasive, neither confirming nor denying it outright. They appeared to have information about a minor car accident I was involved in last summer, which seemed a bit too coincidental. I got the impression they were trying to coax me into discussing potential injuries, damages, and loss of earnings, none of which applied in my situation since I sustained no injuries, and my insurance handled the repairs without a hitch. It was concerning that they had my previous address on file. Despite my repeated requests to have my details removed from their lists, the operator was quite combative. It wasn't until I raised my voice and threatened to report them to the telecom regulator that they finally decided to end the call abruptly. Absolutely infuriating!

Today I've received a barrage of calls from a number claiming to represent AA Assist. When I probed further to clarify if they were indeed related to the Automobile Association, the call handler was rather vague, neither affirming nor denying it. This is rather suspect, especially considering I had a minor bump last summer, which they seemed to be aware of. Their approach felt somewhat pushy, as they were probing for information on potential injuries, damages, and lost earnings - all of which are completely irrelevant to me since I emerged unscathed, and my insurers handled the car repairs without a hitch. It turned out they were holding onto an outdated address for me. I made numerous requests to have my details removed from their system, but the caller was quite obstinate. It was only when I expressed my annoyance and threatened to escalate the matter to a telecommunications regulator that they abruptly hung up. Quite the ordeal, really!

A right pain, to be honest! I could barely catch a word of what they were blathering on about, and rather than attempt to clarify, they just kept mumbling away. Quite frustrating, really!

I got a call from these dodgy characters claiming I was linked to some fake accident. They mentioned they had a file on me, which I’ve now asked for, as they’re clearly holding unauthorised information about me, violating the data protection laws. They assured me I’d receive the file today, but that hasn’t happened yet. I'm seriously considering reporting this outfit now.
