I received a call from someone wanting to chat with the proprietor of my business. Naturally, I inquired about the purpose of the call. The individual, speaking with a rather difficult-to-follow foreign accent, muttered something about me being charged too much. I firmly told them not to contact me again and promptly ended the call. They proceeded to ring me another three times before I had the chance to block the number.

I received numerous phone calls from someone claiming to be with Npower, insisting they needed to chat with the business owner. They asserted that they were the new energy provider and claimed that British Gas had ceased trading. They even went as far as suggesting that we had flunked a credit check! When I requested that they take my number off their list, they turned rather nasty. I chose to terminate the conversation, but to my dismay, they kept ringing back, relentlessly throughout the day. In the end, my partner had to step in and firmly told them where to go!
