Someone rang me but I had no clue who it was since there was this really loud music blasting in the back. I told them I couldn’t hear properly, then after a bit the bloke asks, “better now?” I said “no” and he goes, “sorry, my mates want the music turned up.” That’s all I caught before he just ended the call. I had a good chuckle about it afterwards, though I doubt that was really what they were aiming for!

Got a call from 02037691941, it was a lady. Weirdly, she knew my name but her voice sounded totally dead, no feeling at all. She asked, "Is this Carmen?" I ended the call right away, but she rang back twice more and now she’s calling me like twice every week.

They say they’re from Holiday Promotions or some company like that. When I picked up and told them I wasn’t interested, they wouldn’t remove me from their list straight away. Claimed it was a holiday deal, which sounds like a sneaky way to get you into a timeshare by tempting you with a bargain trip. Told them I’m ex-directory and on the do not call list, so they shouldn’t be phoning me. She said she was calling from Spain so the rules don’t count. But then, why did the number have an Outer London area code? Doesn't make sense.
