Got a call from someone with a thick Indian accent, hardly said a word in proper English. They wouldn’t say where they found my number either. Guess what, I’ve just put up an ad on Gumtree, so looks like it's linked to that like a lot of others have mentioned! Total scam if you ask me.

I’ve received a call from these individuals who appeared to be from India, and I ended up recording the conversation. They’re definitely up to no good, trying to swindle folks out of their bank details and selling dodgy mobile phones and electronics. Quite concerning, really!

Watch out, these lot are sketchy. They promised me an iPhone 7 Plus for £35, then somehow managed to snatch my bank info. Later I realised they’d signed me up for two Vodafone phone contracts without my permission!! Seriously, be super careful with these scammers!!

Scam alert. They pretended to be EE, saying my contract was up for renewal so I gave them my card info. Then they just vanished and wouldn’t answer when I tried getting back to them. Thankfully, I got in touch with my bank quick enough and sorted new details, but it’s been a right mess and stressful. Do yourself a favour, don’t pick up this number.

I got a call from a supposed Indian firm pushing phone deals, claiming my number was picked for some odd promo and then started asking for my card info. Funny enough, this all kicked off right after I put up a car advert on Gumtree. Also, if you take a look at the glowing reviews for that number, you'll notice they all came in on the same day or the day after, which is a dead giveaway that it’s dodgy. Honestly, if you’ve got nothing better to do, just ring them back and mess around a bit. It’s quite amusing!

So this lot were trying to get me to switch to their phone plan and promised they'd cover the rest of my current contract - which still has almost two years left, no chance! When I mentioned I'd call the cops on them, they threw me a postcode and a website to check out. Took a quick peek online and it looked totally dodgy, nothing like a real deal! No credit checks either, which you never get with proper contracts. Fingers crossed no one gets caught out by this rubbish and all these scammers end up behind bars!

I heard the cops are cracking down on this lot and arrests should be happening pretty quick. Just have a look at these two good reviews nearby - the grammar's terrible, so you can guess they're fake. Honestly, don't hand over any info and keep clear of this lot, lads.

They promise a pricey phone with no initial payment and next day shipping - sounds way too good to be true. Watch out, because they demand your bank details immediately to "process" the upgrade.
