10 yearsI received an unexpected phone call today, which was a follow-up to an earlier conversation on the 27th of February 2016. The caller, a gentleman with an Indian accent, claimed to represent SSE and insisted that I needed to renew my gas and electricity contract or face the dire consequence of having my meters cut off tomorrow. Having fallen victim to dodgy electricity brokers in the past, it was abundantly clear that this was an elaborate scam. DO NOT FALL FOR HIS TRICKS! Instead, have a bit of sport with him and keep the dialogue going until he loses his cool and hangs up.
