I've already fallen for the so-called UK TV Care scam. Actually, my coverage doesn’t expire until 6th May 2019, which they seem to have completely ignored since they never pick up when I try calling them.
Now there’s another outfit, Sky Protect, but honestly, I don’t trust them any more than the last lot.
Honestly, it’s best just to stick with pay-as-you-go for Sky repairs - usually ends up cheaper anyway.

It's really sad how these callers target elderly and vulnerable folks, they just wont accept a no. Why do they feel the need to keep pushing like that? They ring you up, so if you say no, that should be the end of it, no need for all the pressure trying to make you think you've got some kind of offer.

Got a call from this number on the 31st May. I decided to check it out online and everything seemed genuine. Then I made a claim for a replacement box and it arrived without any hassle within two days. Honestly, their prices are way lower than other places I’ve seen.

Got a call from this number earlier, they claimed they’d cover my Sky gear for half what I’m currently paying. But they wanted the full payment upfront, not monthly like I do now. Feels a bit dodgy, anyone else had this?

Back in March I switched over to this provider and just recently had my dish and box swapped out. Honestly, their service has been spot on, can’t complain at all. Plus, their prices are way better than what I used to pay!

Got a call last Thursday, 11th May 2017. The guy was asking questions about my Sky insurance. I didn’t share anything since I was eating my dinner at the time. He mentioned he’d ring me back the next day.

I just got a call from Sky Insurance and something felt off straight away - I told them I wasn't interested and quickly ended the call. Definitely looks like a scam, best to just hang up if they ring you.
