I've been getting frequent calls from this number lately. Most of the time, they just cut off the line. My phone's unlisted and I've signed up with the Telephone Preference Service, so I thought I was safe. Once, I spoke to a chap with a foreign accent who claimed he was following up about a car accident. When I probed him for his company's details and how he obtained my number, he merely mentioned the insurers without specifying which one, and then he just hung up. It’s becoming quite bothersome, I must say. I've already received four calls just this evening!
