While we were still on, I looked the number up on Google and found this site. I told him the number was linked to some life insurance scam. He just said those reviews were from folks trying to damage their business.

I said I was fine speaking with someone else there, then ended the call. Later I rang my insurance company directly and they told me those numbers aren’t theirs at all. Shortly after, I got a text from 07860020026 asking when they could ring me about my life insurance review. I replied that I was quite happy with my current policy and didn’t want to make any changes. He then messaged saying that my critical illness cover from [year] might not include every illness. "It’s worth spending just 10 minutes reviewing it, as some older plans haven’t paid out because they don’t cover certain illnesses," he said.

Got another phone call after using Money Supermarket to get life insurance quotes. When I rang them to complain, they mentioned there’s some tiny, almost hidden fine print saying they share your details. Like others have mentioned, this is defo a scam call. Anyone saying it’s alright probably works for the company itself.

Really annoying having to deal with this. I didn’t pick up since I had no idea who was ringing until I looked them up here. Big thanks to this site. Definitely not answering if they ring back. Stay safe, all!

0203 764 0181 rang me earlier, cheers for the heads up. I never pick up calls from numbers I don’t recognise. Didn’t have a clue who it was till I looked it up here. Looks like a right nuisance, so I’ll just ignore it completely.
