This was the People’s Postcode Lottery calling. I rang their main office on 0808 109 8765 and they verified they’d called me before, even gave the time and the name of the caller. I mentioned that they should have their marketing numbers properly registered under their name.

This is a real postcode lottery number. To log in all they ask for is answers to 2 simple security questions that aren’t that personal. They’ve got your info from when you last played, so if it looks a bit off it’s just outdated from before. I bought a couple of tickets and got confirmation right away. They ask for your sort code and account number but honestly the worst anyone could do with that is put money in or try to set up a direct debit, so it’s probably the safest payment method. I get why people are cautious but this number is legit.
