Sounds like a scam from what others have mentioned. Got a call from an Indian man claiming it was about "covid verification" to check vaccination details. I have no idea what info they were trying to get, but it started off as one straightforward question then suddenly kept piling on more. I just told him I wasn’t sharing any info with him.

Totally a scam, they wanted me to give my number to take me off their list but when i said no they just started swearing at me. Then they tried the old debt scam, saying I owe money and they’ll make me pay up. The voice wasn’t even from the UK, with a weird accent and really bad English plus they didn’t know any UK laws at all. Save yourself the hassle and just block them straight away.

Just got a call from this number a few minutes ago, about 9 mins back and then again moments ago. The guy had an Indian accent and somehow already knew my name. When I said I was on the line, he just cut me off. Seems like a dodgy spam call if you ask me, very cheeky behaviour.

Somebody rang me saying they worked for a company linked to Citizens Advice, but I told them I’ve never had any contact with Citizens Advice at all. They just called me a fibber and then cut me off. Since then, I’ve had loads of calls from different phone numbers, but it’s obviously the same dodgy scam.

Total rubbish! I asked them to take my number off their list and quit calling me, but the woman just started yelling and arguing with me over the phone.

There was loads of background noise, so it was hard to catch what the person was saying. They brought up the NHS and Covid jabs, then talked about some phone app. After that, they started enquiring about life and health insurance info for some database. I said no to answering any of it, because I’m pretty sure the NHS wouldn’t be asking stuff like that.
