So, I got a call from someone claiming to be from the "Housing association" saying council homes have been left in bad shape since covid and that the government is offering some kind of payback. Problem is, the house isn't in my name and my phone number isn't linked to any official housing records at all.

Got calls from the same lot for 3 days straight, the last number changing each time from 5 to 6 to 7. Everytime I block one, they just ring from a different number but it’s all the same company. They claim to be debt advisors or part of some Covid support scheme - total scam. If you dare question them they just cut you off, and today one actually told me to shut up and listen. Ridiculous!

Someone called me claiming to be from Citizens Advice UK, saying I owe money and need to sort it out. They kept asking if that was correct. I've had about four calls like this today, all sounding the same with strong Asian accents. I told one of them to find a real job. Every time I challenged them, they just ended the call.

Got a call claiming to be from the NHS. I just told them no thanks and put the phone down. Been through similar ones before where they bombard you with questions about Covid, then suddenly switch to asking about life insurance. Don’t bother giving them any info, it’s a waste of time.

‭020 3740 8415‬ - Thought it might be a scam but was a bit bored so I picked up. A quite polite but not very bright young bloke called Alex (seemed like he was making the name up from his accent) told me I’d been picked to have all my debt wiped clean. When I asked for details, he said the government would sort out 71% of it. I pointed out that still meant I’d have to pay 29%, but he didn’t seem to get it and got annoyed, then just hung up on me - bit cheeky really!

Felt a bit fishy and honestly got pretty annoyed with her. Looking back, she knew my name but never properly checked if it was actually me she was speaking to. Seemed really dodgy to be honest.

Got a call from someone claiming they were from citizens advice, saying I owed money and would be in trouble if I didn’t pay up. When I told them it sounded like a scam and had a laugh, the guy, who spoke with a strong Indian accent, got proper annoyed and said, “How do you know it’s a scam? Are you some kind of god?” I just cracked up again and then he dropped the call. Might keep the number unblocked for a bit so I can mess with them a little more.
