The individuals on the other end sport Indian accents and assert they're from the Citizens Helpline, purportedly a government body. Their aim seems to be peddling IVAs. While this might not be outright illegal, they certainly aren't adhering to UK regulations concerning unsolicited calls. It's become a daily nuisance, as they ring me religiously at 11 every morning. I've made it clear that I work nights and that these calls disrupt my much-needed rest, yet they show no regard whatsoever.

According to some info I found on Citizens Advice about unsecured debts, this number has called me 5 times in just one day. At first, they kept pushing me to say “yes” when they asked if I was alright, but I just said “I’m fine.” Then they asked again if I was really okay! I made it clear I don’t owe anything and told them to remove my number, yet they just won’t stop ringing me 😤😤

Received a ring from 02037408418 earlier today claiming to be from Citizens Advice. The woman on the line insisted I owed money. When I denied it, she got all flustered and lost her train of thought. I told her they seriously need a fresh script because this one's been going around forever! Then I mentioned I'd registered with Telephone Preference Service and suddenly the call just dropped. No shock there. I've blocked the number and reported the incident. I also tipped off Citizens Advice themselves, who were quite annoyed and have now sent it on to their legal department.
