I received a text message thanking me for subscribing to a payment of £4.50 per month, which I did not sign up for. When I called Nexgen, the company involved, to complain about the unauthorized charges, they rudely terminated the call. What steps can I take to halt this fraudulent activity and prevent further financial loss?

The phone number has been updated to 02037403517. It appears that the subscription has been changed from Nexgen Ltd, which had a weekly cost of £4.50, to Just4Life. You can cancel the subscription by sending a text saying "STOP" to the premium text number 64055. This message will be deleted after being read. Should I simply ignore this message or could there be a chance that they have gained access through the provider, such as Vodafone, or are they counting on me panicking and responding impulsively?

Absolutely, I was being charged £4.50 by these fraudsters every Monday in the early hours. I have contacted Vodafone and requested them to block the number, but only time will tell if it successfully prevents further charges.
According to the bill, the charges are attributed to 'gamex02037342868'. This entity is completely unfamiliar to me, and I have never signed up for any kind of online gaming service. It is evident that they are criminals and should face severe consequences - without any form of pain relief!

We have been charged £45 for a subscription that we never agreed to. Despite our call to cancel it, we are not receiving any assistance. Virgin Mobile states that it is not their responsibility, even though we have requested them to block the number. They claim that we could still incur charges. This situation is absolutely absurd!

I got a message saying I'm somehow signed up to uk premiumgamez and it'll cost me £4.50 a week. The text said to reply STOP to 64055 or ring a number if I need help. I don’t even know these people, but their website looks like a gambling site from Hong Kong. Sounds like it’s a common scam going around.

There is an ongoing scam that I am currently dealing with. I received a text claiming that I have subscribed to a service for £4.50 per week, which is not true. I will report this incident to my phone provider.

I received a text notification informing me that I have been registered for premiumgamez at a monthly cost of £4.50. However, there is no website provided, and when I attempted to call the given number, there was no response. The text does offer the option to STOP by sending a text. I can only hope that the extent of the charges they have incurred remains to be seen.

The company goes by the name Superiorgmes4U, but their attempt to stop their services by texting STOP to 64055 is unsuccessful. Their provided email address, mentioned in their message as [email protected], is also non-functional. This company is engaged in fraudulent activities. I never signed up for their games. To make matters worse, they are deducting £3.75 every week as well as an additional 50p per day.

We recommend reaching out to your service provider and requesting them to block any premium calls to your mobile phone. Sending a 'stop' text to the sender of these messages won't prevent them from continuing to send texts and charging you £4.50 each time. The only effective solution is to have your provider block premium calls to your mobile phone.

I received a message from this phone number instructing me to text STOP or continue receiving a weekly subscription charge of £4.50. However, every time I replied to the message, it failed. These individuals are complete fraudsters. Fortunately, I have successfully convinced my service provider to remove the charge and block the number. Let's wait and see how that turns out. I am determined not to let these thieves get anything from me.

I recently received a message from scammers that said: "FreeMsg: We'd like to thank you for signing up to UK bestgames2017. You will be charged £4.50 per week by BESTGAMES2017 until you send STOP to 64055. Need assistance? Contact us at 02037349268." Does anyone know how to deal with this situation?

I received a text from a number starting with 0161, telling me that I had signed up for a UK gaming service. So, I replied to the text to stop it. However, soon after, I started receiving more texts from that same number, making the same claim. It was evident that they were working together. I reached out to Vodafone, who partially refunded the charge and blocked premium call numbers. Unfortunately, this did not solve the issue, as I am still being charged.

I am requesting a reimbursement of £4.50 deducted from my mobile account for online games, despite the fact that I never subscribed to them. O2 is not taking any action in resolving this issue and simply sends generic texts to all affected customers while collecting their money unlawfully. I intend to inform the police about this matter and encourage others to do the same.

I recently received a message expressing gratitude for my subscription and informing me that I will be charged £4.50 per week unless I text "STOP" to the provided number. It's rather perplexing, as I have not signed up for any services or subscriptions whatsoever.

Just like the individuals mentioned before, I am clueless as to how they obtained my contact details. However, I have registered a complaint with my service provider, who assured me that this issue has been resolved. Surprisingly, I received a thank you card from them this morning. It makes me consider canceling my direct debit, as someone might take notice of me in court.

I have received several texts from the same sender for the third time, requesting a payment of £4.50 for a subscription that I am unaware of. I attempted to contact them via phone, but was met with an automated message instructing callers to leave a voice message. These individuals are engaging in fraudulent activity and I sincerely hope that someone intervenes to stop them.

These individuals are incredibly persistent. Despite my attempts to put an end to these messages, they continue to persist, merely changing their titles. As a 70-year-old pensioner, I have no interest in participating in any games or schemes. Their actions have already caused me to lose more than £30. What options do I have moving forward?

I got a text confirmation and receipt from this number at 00:30. It's unbelievable how these individuals were able to deceive me by subscribing my phone to their service called UK Games Online For You at a cost of £4.50 per week! I have no prior knowledge of them and certainly did not authorize any such action :(
