I got a call from someone claiming to be with Sky, saying my internet had been hacked. They didn’t bother verifying any of my info, just told me to look up my IP address online and tell them where it was from. They wouldn’t say my name or account number, and warned me that my broadband would be cut off if I didn’t follow their steps. When I kept saying no and asked them to prove they actually had my details, they just ended the call.
