I get calls from this number probably five times daily. Whenever I don’t pick up and it goes to voicemail, they just hang up quickly. Then, when I try calling them back, it says the number can’t be found. This has been happening for ages now. Finally put them on my block list, hopefully done with these morons now.

Loads of calls coming from numbers that look alike, so I just block em straight away nowadays.

i keep getting calls, but whenever i pick up, it just cuts off straight away. really frustrating. i've had scam calls on my home phone too, usually some robot telling me to press a button to talk to an advisor - never fall for that, just end the call. it's definitely a scam.

I keep getting calls from a company that calls itself Appliance Protect or something like that. They somehow manage to slip through my call blockers. Different numbers but looks like the same lot. I've had to keep blocking them every time.

Got a bunch of calls this morning, about four, all from numbers that were nearly identical except for the last digit. Total scammers, just ignore them and don't waste your time!

Got a call from a number starting with 02036. Didn't answer because those are usually annoying telemarketers or scams. No voicemail was left, so I've just blocked the number straight away!

Got a call from an unknown number but nobody said a thing on the other end. I checked the number online and decided to block it straight away.

I received a call using Sky Talk Shield, it showed up like a number I already knew so I picked up without asking who it was. When I rang back, a woman with an American accent told me that Thad had won a grand. Feels a bit dodgy, could easily be a scam!

The exchange unfolded something like this: “Could I be speaking with Mr X?” ...

I responded, “Indeed, that’s me.” ...

“This is Mike, following up on your expired Appliance Insurance. I wanted to inform you that we’ll be reinstating your policy under the same conditions as before.”

I replied, “How absolutely splendid of you!”

And just like that, the line went silent! It seems my rather cheeky remark didn’t paint me as the perfect target for their little scheme!

Got a call but no voicemail left. I tried calling the number back and it played a message saying I'd just installed some kind of software. Didn’t listen to the whole thing and just ended the call. Strange!
