Got a call from this number, and as soon as I picked up, there was a recorded message claiming a letter from HMRC got sent back because apparently I'm not registered at my own address and now there's some legal trouble brewing. For starters, 1. can they really threaten legal action over a letter sent to the wrong place? 2. I pay my taxes through PAYE, so HMRC definitely have my accurate info, and 3. honestly, this scam is just getting ridiculous, how low do they wanna go? Put them straight on my block list!
