I received a call from a woman with an Asian accent, claiming that BT had a promotion for three months of free line rental. When I mentioned that I pay upfront, she insisted that they could arrange a refund straight to my bank. Oddly enough, she already knew which bank I’m with and even had the first four digits of my card number. She then asked for the rest of the numbers, but I refused to provide them. That's when she transferred me to her supervisor. I decided to hang up, after which they attempted to call me back.
