Got a call from some dodgy sales team who insisted it wasn’t a sales call when I questioned them. Turns out they were trying to push a "better" gas and electric deal and needed to speak to the business owner. The background was buzzing with noise, probably a call centre, and I had to keep saying hello because their voice detection was rubbish. When I finally said "this is a sales call," the woman just laughed and admitted it straight away. I didn’t bother wasting more time and ended the call.
