Got a call on my US mobile, some bloke sayin he was doin a solar project and wanted me involved. Told him I couldn’t help and he sounded annoyed then just dropped the call. Seemed like a dodgy call to me, plus his English was terrible. He also sounded a bit off, like he was struggling with something mentally.

Got a call asking me about my Dyson washing machine, but I don't own one. There was loads of background chatter, seemed like it was from some call centre. I said sorry, must be a mix-up, and they just hung up.

A couple months ago, they rang me up with loads of questions, one was about the brand of my washing machine. I told ’em Hotpoint, but really it’s Bush. Then a few weeks later, the same number called to say my Hotpoint washing machine warranty had expired and asked if I wanted to pay over the phone! I told them they’d called before and my washing machine’s actually Bush, not Hotpoint, then the bloke just hung up on me. Now, today, I get another call saying the warranty on my Bush washing machine is up and they want payment! Total scam.
