I received yet another call from Hotpoint today, and honestly, the caller was incredibly dismissive. I clearly stated three times that I wasn't interested in their call, but they just wouldn't listen. I even had to tell them how rude they were before they hung up. To my disbelief, they tried to ring me again straight away, as if they were looking to pick a fight! It's downright ridiculous! They've certainly lost my business for good, and I’ll be filing a formal complaint to make sure my concerns are noted.

I've received two phone calls insisting that I have an expired washing machine insurance policy with them, and they were requesting my bank details to renew it. Utter nonsense, as I've never even taken out a policy with them!

I kept getting missed calls from this number showing up a lot on my phone. When I finally answered, I had to let them know my number was hidden, and then they turned around and said they don’t answer calls from hidden numbers! Told me to ring back but show my number. Honestly, quite annoying and a bit cheeky if you ask me.

I got a call from some bloke named Wayne who reckoned my washing machine warranty was nearly up and I needed to renew it. He said he was ringing from a firm called Appliance Protect or summat like that. When I told him I don’t even have a Beko washing machine, he just cut me off straight away.

I got a call from someone telling me my washing machine warranty was up. They kept saying it wasn’t a cold call but a warm one, which seemed a bit dodgy to me. They came across as quite rude and kept arguing when I questioned them. I ended up hanging up, but they just called me back straight away.

Got a call from ApplianceServe Ltd about a washing machine repair contract, claiming mine had expired which isn't true at all. I told them off and signed up with the Telephone Preference Service to block these sorts of calls. It’s helped before with other annoying cold callers since the Info Commissioner’s Office is cracking down harder now. The number they used to ring me was 02036375832.
