They keep calling me super early in the morning, like around 7.45am, and then again really late at night. I mean, do they ever get any sleep at all? It's so annoying!

I picked up the phone and said, "Good day, this is Chief Inspector 4320 Jones speaking, who am I talking to?" The other person quickly replied, "Oh sorry, I must have dialled the wrong number, didn’t mean to bother you." Absolute morons!

They claimed to be from my life insurance provider but just ended the call when I asked for their name.

I get this all the time too, everyday I’m being dialled by loads of unknown numbers. Seems like they’re sharing our details when we sign up for stuff online or maybe it’s linked to the network I’m with. Now, I just pick up and immediately mute the call if I don’t know who it is. Sometimes they hang up pretty quick, other times it goes on for a bit without a word, and often it’s just a missed call. Got a call from some woman looking for a Mrs something or other. Had to keep telling her over and over that she had the wrong number and I’m a bloke. Then she had the nerve to ask me my name! This number rang me up on 12th April 2015 and some bloke told me he was calling from "Life Review". He went on about how I hadn’t renewed my life insurance policy for a while and that he wanted to chat about it. I told him straight up, “I don’t even have a policy, so no thanks!” and then I ended the call. Seems like a total scam to me, probably got my info from somewhere dodgy and just trying to trick you into thinking you’re insured with them. Best tip? Got a call from a bloke with a Welsh accent saying he was checking up on my AXA life insurance, but I knew something was off since I don’t have any policy with AXA. He kept pushing to find out why I got the policy, which is odd because if it was legit, he’d have that info already. I asked where he was ringing from and he claimed Cardiff, but the number was definitely a London one. When I told him I wanted all the details sent in writing to fill out and return, he just hung up on me. Proper dodgy.
