Got a call from someone claiming to be O2, saying my contract needs renewing or something. Seemed fishy, so I checked and it was a total scam. Watch out for these dodgy calls!

Some bloke rang me, said he was from this company called "PB" and mentioned my o2 contract needed renewing. I asked him how he got my number and suddenly he went quiet and hung up. I’ve blocked the number now.

I picked up one time and they just ended the call quick. Got loads of calls from numbers that look the same, so I just block em all now.

Got a call about some contract supposedly with O2. When I asked if he was actually from O2, he claimed he was just an approved reseller. I politely mentioned I only deal directly with O2, but he didn’t pick up on the hint that I wasn’t interested in chatting. Ended up wasting both his and my time. He probably has no clue that I have four O2 SIM-only lines already, all on really good friends and family deals, so there's no way he could beat what I’m paying.

Loads of calls from numbers that are pretty much the same kept coming through, so now I just block and ignore them all.

02036302861 rang me earlier claiming they were from a business named CV. When I asked who they were exactly, they said it was about my O2 contract. I mentioned it’s a sim-only deal, so the caller wanted to know when I’d set it up. I challenged him to provide the details since he said he had access, but then he just ended the call. Feels like a scam to me, so I’ve let O2’s phishing team know about it.
