So this bloke called me claiming there was a problem with Microsoft on one of my computers. I kept asking him to clarify which computer he meant, going over it three times. Got a call from someone saying they were with Microsoft. Actually, I've had calls twice from the same individual but two different numbers, both based in London. The numbers shared the middle digits, but the last four were 2241 and 2196.

Despite being on the TPS list, this number somehow manages to ring my phone.

I got a call from 02036302127 but didn’t pick up. I usually like to check on WhoCalledMe before I decide to ring back or anything. Always good to be sure first!

I picked up the phone and before I could say anything, they just ended the call.

Just blocked them, total scammer alert.

So I got a call from someone claiming to be Microsoft, but luckily since I’m in tech I spotted it was a total scam instantly. What annoyed me was that one of the blokes who kept ringing called me a liar - which is just ridiculous and honestly quite funny. Seriously hope people don’t end up getting tricked by these awful scammers.

I picked up and a lady came on, saying who she was, but then she got all confused about her company and just ended up cutting the call.

02036302127 I pretended to know what I was talking about, dropping words like ms dos just to mess with them... they clearly had no clue lol. Total scam, trying to get you to download viruses.
