Somebody rang me saying they were from the Telephone Preference Service, but then started blethering about Sky, Virgin and BT as well. They said they needed to update my info to stop unwanted calls, but the details they had were ancient, like from a decade ago, so I didn’t really trust them. When I asked for a contact number to ring back, the caller got pretty rude and accused ME of being unhelpful!

I received a call purporting to be from the Telephone Preference Service, but the chap also threw in names like Sky, Virgin and BT into the mix. They suggested it was in relation to updating my preferences for blocking unwanted calls, yet the information they had on file was a decade old - hardly instilling much confidence, is it? To make matters worse, the bloke was rather impolite and had the audacity to label me as uncooperative when I simply requested a number to ring them back on! Quite the cheeky behaviour, if you ask me.

They phoned me up warning that if I didn't register, I'd start getting spam calls! No idea where they got my name and number from, so I told them to delete my info under GDPR rules. They were totally clueless about that. Definitely not a proper company. I'd just suggest saying "No thanks" nicely and then just ending the call.

Everytime I pick up there’s nobody on the line. After that I just went ahead and blocked the number. Then a couple days later, a call came through from a number almost the same but with ‘15’ tacked on the end. Same thing happened so I blocked that one as well. It’s odd, maybe it’s because my phone is pay as you go or something?
