They ring me pretty much every day, and there was this one time they called me 4 times in just half an hour. I told them to take my number off their list since it's for my work, but they just ignored me.

This number is a total pain. They seem to call almost daily. Just last week, I got four calls from them in under half an hour, even though I told them to take my business line off their list.

Calls me daily, keeps disturbing the baby’s naps. They keep switching the last digit on their numbers, so blocking one doesn’t help. This is hardly what I'd expect from a company that claims to 'respect your privacy'. I’m signed up with the TPS, so why should I have to get in touch with them just to make the calls stop? I’m going to report this to the ICO and let others know too. Proper annoying lot.

This number called me and the bloke on the other end actually gave my name and address straight away. He said he would ask me 4 quick questions, like some others have mentioned. When I asked where he was calling from, he rambled about the company, then admitted it was for some kind of research. He kept calling me 'lovely lady' and 'pretty lady', which felt a bit odd. I told him I was at work and he just ended the call. Later on, the same person rang me again but from a blocked number - he shouted at me for being at work before hanging up on me.

Like that old tune says, "Regrets, I've had a few but they're not worth bringing up." Seriously though, why isn’t anything done about these irritating calls? If you've got free or unlimited minutes, why not give their complaints line a dose of their own medicine - 200 or 300 calls, no caller ID, and watch them squirm. Bet they won't be so keen then!

They actually repeated my postcode and then asked me to verify my house name... If someone was legit, they wouldn't need to ask me those kinda questions. You could hear a lot of background chatter, so it was clearly a call centre claiming they're not trying to sell me anything. When I questioned their purpose, they said it was just a courtesy call and promised to ring back. Typical annoying cold callers/scammers/waste of time. My approach is pretty straightforward - if I need something, I get in touch with a trusted company myself. I never buy services from doorstep sales and definitely don’t hand over my details to random cold callers.

Got a call earlier asking for my mum, even though she has a different last name and lives next door with her own phone line. They never said who they were or what it was about. I told them she wasn't home and asked where they got our number from since it's unlisted. They just hung up straight away! I did a reverse lookup later and it turned out the number calling me was the same one that had rung earlier today. Feels like a scam to me.

For the last two weeks, this number has been ringing me multiple times every day. Today I was home from work so I actually picked up. When I asked the person who they were, they said Philip Benjamin. I then asked which company they represented, and they said Verso. I requested a company address but all they gave me was a website: www.versogroup.co.uk, no postal address. I told the caller I’d be charging £20 a minute for my time, that the call was being timed and recorded, and asked if they accepted my terms. Unsurprisingly, they didn't agree. I warned them they’d be charged for any more calls - and sure enough, they haven’t called since!

The call came from Alexandrite, Egypt and the caller ID showed a name called Abood Fasial. I don't have any idea who that is.
