Someone said there was a car crash and asked me to fill out a form about it. I said I’d report him if he kept pushing, then he got really rude. There was no crash, I never filled out any form, and he said he had no driving licence. I’ve never even driven before, so no insurance either. I’m so fed up with these companies ringing up out of nowhere. There needs to be some law to stop cold calls and for sure to stop their staff being so abusive.

My mum recently passed away and with Mother's Day coming up, I’m still mourning. I’m annoyed because I’m not even close to dying, but I feel bad for anyone unwell or elderly who answers. I tried calling back and the voicemail said you can opt out of their calls - still furious they got my number anyhow. Honestly, how dare they!

Terrible auto-dialling system, you answer and just get dead silence for a few seconds before the call centre chatter kicks in. I gave them a taste of their own medicine by staying quiet for 5 secs, which made them drop the call. The poor folks working those centres probably earn next to nothing and deserve our pity - but the nasties behind the scenes are the real scum, who in a just world should face consequences harsher than anything history’s seen.

Got three calls from this number today. I rang back, thinking it might be something from work - couldn’t make out the 'company name' at all though. They said an advisor would get back to me soon, not too sure about that. Does anyone know if this is one of those premium rate numbers? I’ve already told my phone provider and signed up for the TPS to try and stop these annoying calls. Really kicking myself now.

Some guy with a really heavy foreign accent called me, said his name was Kevin and claimed I’d been in a car accident sometime in the last couple of years. I told him that wasn’t true, but he kept insisting. When I asked him for my car’s registration number, he said he had no idea. Weirdly, he did know my address though. I told him he was making it up and asked how he got my phone number since it’s on a blocked list for spam calls. His excuse was that I’d been in an accident, which is rubbish. I ended the call and have blocked the number now.

The bloke on the other end was hard to understand and asked me about a section 4. When I asked for details, he just said “if you don’t know, it’s not important” and then hung up. After googling, I found out a section 4 relates to conspiracy involving fear and threats of violence. This sounds quite serious and honestly gave me a right fright!

They also blamed me for something I wasn’t responsible for - the other driver admitted fault straight away. They said there was £3500 waiting for me.
