I received numerous calls from an individual claiming to be from a debt agency, supposedly concerning some unarranged financial obligations of mine. Given that I am debt-free, I naturally suspected it was a scam. After careful consideration, I decided the best course of action was to simply block the number.

This guy who clearly didn’t speak English well started accusing me of not making payments. I don’t owe anything, but he kept insisting I was fibbing. I ended up telling him, quite rudely, to shove off - preferably back home.

So far, since the initial ring at 10:27 this morning, I’ve had six calls from this number - it’s now 11:34. I didn’t pick up because the number wasn’t familiar and they left no voicemail. From past experience with 020 numbers, these are usually just annoying spam calls. I’m attempting to block them, but I’m sure they’ll switch to a different number soon!
