Best to steer clear of these callers! They’ve rung me so many times-about fifty, if I’m counting-over a mere fortnight. When I requested them to take my number off their list, they either hung up or completely disregarded my plea. Plus, if you try to unsubscribe through their automated system, they just disconnect you. Best not to engage!

Had a right old debate with them. They insisted they were promoting some sort of governmental aid for debts. I made it clear that I’d just settled all my dues, yet they kept insisting I had to pay mind to them. Absolutely preposterous, if you ask me!

Upon answering the call, I was met with an odd background chorus of laughter alongside the chap on the line. He mentioned my name and requested to have a word with me. However, when I repeatedly inquired, "Could you kindly tell me who’s calling?"-and by 'repeatedly', I mean a good few times-he simply sidestepped my question and persisted in asking if I was the individual he sought. It was quite the strange exchange! Eventually, I just stated that he'd dialled the wrong number and ended the call. Quite the peculiar experience, if you ask me.

I can assure you that the call from Cabot on a landline is quite dubious-definitely a scam! I’ve taken the step to block the number and I recommend others follow suit. Pretty sure Cabot is linked to debt collection, if I'm not mistaken.
