This robot called me saying: "I understand you were in a car crash recently, correct?" I replied: "Yes, but if you want to handle my claim, please get in touch with my lawyer." Then it said: "Hold on, I'll connect you to my manager." When someone from the call centre picked up, I chuckled, and then they just ended the call immediately.

I just tell em straight, "who are you trying to reach?" I mean, if they’re aware of my accident, they should know who to pick up the phone for, right? Sounds like this could be some kinda smart system that picks up on key words like YES, NO or OKAY. These days, in the UK, people often get asked for private info on the phone and you have to say it out loud letter by letter. Just be careful out there.

This woman called me, saying she wanted to discuss a car crash I supposedly had that wasn’t my fault. I decided to play along and asked, “Which accident?” She then asked if I’d had any such mishaps recently, so I joked that I’m pretty accident-prone and tend to have about five crashes daily. I received a call from a woman inquiring whether I'd had an accident. I assured her that I hadn’t been in any such incident. She seemed keen to dig deeper, but I decided to end the conversation. Interestingly, I noticed they had tried to reach me earlier in December, as it was still showing in my call history.
