Funny how these days the automated voice is always an American woman, guessing the Indian bloke’s voice sets off warning signals straight away. I got a call from this number at 10:00 on 30th May 2018 - typical scammer pretending to be from TalkTalk, saying my computers had viruses that would harm their systems. This time they even threatened to disconnect the service if I didn’t do something about it. We’re no longer TalkTalk customers (though we were back when they had that big data breach in India).

Today around 10:30, a lady rang me up claiming that TalkTalk was about to disconnect my internet. I was pretty sure it was a scam, so I just ended the call. Bit creepy, to be honest.

Somebody rang, claiming to be from BT and threatened to disconnect my service today. I played along long enough to get passed to a “technical” chap who ended up giving me a bogus BT ref number to make it seem legit. Then they had the nerve to say I was wasting their time after only about 10 minutes of their daft questions. That was enough for me, so I hung up and blocked the number.

Got a recorded call claiming TalkTalk is cutting off our internet today and to press 1 to speak with them to stop it. Total scam alert because we don’t even have TalkTalk as our provider.

Got a call with no one saying a word, then they just ended it.

Just a bit ago, I picked up and said "hello," but the call dropped right away. Was kinda hoping for a proper chat, but nope. Probably some dodgy scammer. Such a letdown!

Got a robo call from a lady with an American accent saying TalkTalk was cutting off my internet today and to press 1. I just ended the call straight away.
