I got a call from this number about £8 on my bill and when I called back to check, the lady who picked up wasn’t very nice at all. She sounded a bit off, like maybe she was under the influence or something. She told me I’d signed up to some Tesco survey about how many people sing in a choir, which I never did. When I said that, she just said she had to go by what her computer said. I looked up the number online and saw loads of posts saying it’s a scam. I tried telling her that but she just warned me not to trust the internet, which was bit rich coming from her. We ended up going back and forth and she said we were just going in circles. I told her it was frustrating and she asked if I had any other questions. I said no, just wanted the matter sorted. Then I said have a nice day and she hung up on me. Definitely a dodgy number, so watch out. Cheers for reading!

I own a Oneplus One and just by tapping the screen, it unlocked. Then, they said I’d paid £8 for a chance to win a Tesco voucher. I told them I never intended to click on anything like that. They claimed since I answered correctly, it meant I agreed to their terms and conditions. I told them that my finger is not a thinking being who can agree to stuff like that, then they just cut me off.

I got a bill for £24 from this firm, which was a bit of a shock. Got in touch with Vodafone and they’re sorting it out by giving me all my money back. I’ve never had a worse experience than with Vodafone, honestly terrible! I got charged £8, and when I tried to sort it out, the Vodafone agent just told me it was my fault for clicking on a dodgy link. Oh, and don’t bother asking for a manager - you only end up speaking to reps who barely speak English properly. Utter rubbish.

Just noticed £24 taken from my work phone, charged in three £8 instalments, all linked to this Sfire number 02035405932. I phoned them and was told to enter the mobile number in question, which I did. After that the line went dead, then switched to that engaged tone. I've sent an email to our Vodafone account manager about it but honestly, it’s really frustrating that these things happen. Usually, with a business contract covering multiple lines, we wouldn't even spot this - lucky I keep an eye on it!

Last month I got hit with £70 worth of calls, same as you. Tried sorting it out with Vodafone, even popped into a shop and gave them a ring, but honestly, they were about as useful as a chocolate teacup. They just don't wanna take any blame. Now I’m seriously thinking of switching my account to avoid more silly charges. If anyone knows a way to get a refund, please share, I'm all ears!

I got charged £8 and had to ring Vodafone about it. They said they'd give me the money back, but it took me over an hour just trying to sort it out. Every time I called, Vodafone told me I needed to get in touch with whoever runs the subscription to cancel it myself. In the end, when they couldn't even find any info about the number on Phonepayplus, they admitted it might be some kind of scam. Proper hassle, that.

I got charged £60 on my Vodaphone bill by some company called sfire for something I never bought. I don’t even know these people or had any contact with them. I’ve phoned this number three separate times and each time they said someone would get back to me, but never did. Vodaphone refuse to help since it’s a third party and say they won’t reach out for me. When I searched online about this company, loads of folks have been ripped off too and it seems nothing’s been done to get the money back that was taken without permission.

Had the very same thing happen to me - got charged five times £6 all on the very same day and exactly the same time. When I rang the 0203 number, they claimed they handle payments for businesses, but that sounded like total rubbish to me. They said they'd look into it and get back within two working days, but of course, no call came. To anyone else who’s been ripped off like this, please report it to Ofcom, Action Fraud, or any other fraud watchdogs you can find. This kind of scam needs to be shut down. Vodafone were absolutely useless and didn’t lift a finger to help, which is shocking given how much they profit from us. I reckon Sfire probably know what's going on too. There's no way I’m renewing my contract with Vodafone after this nonsense.

Watch out, this number is definitely dodgy. I got billed £6 five times in just a couple of minutes, and I haven’t got the faintest clue what for. Tried sorting it with Vodafone but they’re no help at all. Checked my texts and call logs and I never dialled or messaged this number. On one day, Vodafone billed me five separate times for £6.00 each linked to this 0203540932 sfire number. I have no clue what it actually relates to, but I’m pretty sure it’s some sort of online betting site sneaking charges past you. I’ve also got charged about £30, shown as five separate transactions of £6 each. When I called my phone company, they just said maybe I clicked something by mistake, but I’m certain I didn’t do anything like that. The only help they offered was to block any third-party billing on my account.

Got a text saying "Receipt" and when i looked, it claimed i'd somehow signed up to be charged £6 for something called BIGWIN. I never agreed to any of this and noticed the money had vanished from my bank. The message had a phone number listed to reach out to (which i didn't bother with). From what i've heard, there's no real way to block these charges or stop it from happening again except by getting a new phone number.
