This number has phoned me twice this week. The first time, the caller wanted to know who supplies our electricity and gas. When I asked why, they said they were conducting a survey and could help me find ways to save money. They asked for loads of personal info, even my date of birth, which felt a bit off. The second time, it was about giving up a timeshare. They claimed if I paid £599 upfront, they would sort out the relinquishment in 6 to 12 weeks. They also said I could get my money back through my credit card company if they didn’t deliver. I’m curious if the credit card firms know about this tactic. The callback number they gave me was 01277 519 2155.
