Somebody rang me pretending to be from HMRC, saying I had to call back or get a solicitor involved. They warned of really bad legal trouble if I didn’t respond. Totally suspicious.

Got a missed call from a London number and my phone flagged it as spam straight away. Didn't pick up, but I checked it out later and apparently it's some kind of pest control firm. We've never dealt with them before and we're based in the Humberside region. Bit odd really.

Got a call from London, and my phone instantly flagged it as spam. I didn’t pick up, but decided to check it out later. Turns out it’s supposedly a pest control firm. But when I searched for them on Google Maps, they're based in Louth, which is like 35 miles away from where we live. We’re in the Humberside region, and I’ve never had any dealings with this company before.
