Someone rang up saying they were from British Gas with a deal to renew at a cracking rate... seemed dodgy to me.

Got a call from this number again, same weird lady with some kind of foreign accent. She kept asking for someone who doesn't live here. When I told her that, she then asked for my name. I said I wasn't who she was looking for and she just hung up on me. This is the third time this week they've called, so I've blocked it now.

Got a call on my landline from 1152 but no voicemail or anything. Tried ringing back later and it said something like “this number’s been suspended by numbergroupI###] due to possible misuse or fraud.” Pretty sus if you ask me.

Got a call from this number just after 2pm today, and it’s bank holiday Monday too! The woman on the line spoke with a foreign accent and asked for me by name, plus she knew where I lived. It was one of those unwanted calls pushing insurance for household appliances. I mentioned to her that I've had at least half a dozen calls like that in the past couple of months, not to mention loads of other nuisance calls.

I got a call from some company selling appliance warranties, but they gave me completely wrong info about myself. When I pointed it out, they just ended the call. Proper dodgy.
