Got a call where there was complete silence on the other end. Now, if I don’t know the number, I just don’t speak when I pick up - seems like they’re using some voice-triggered system or something. After waiting for a bit with no one talking, I figured it was one of those scam calls and hung up straight away.

some bloke said he was from BT and told me there’s an issue with the internet speeds nearby, offering to fix it. I told him there’s no chance he’s getting into my PC, but he just carried on. then I told him it was chucking it down out there and i told him i’m payin’ for the call so he can keep me on the line forever if he wants but then he just hung up.
