Got a call from someone saying they were from BT, warning me that my IP address had somehow been exposed and that this could let people grab personal info and passwords. They then went on to ask about the lights on my router - like how many there were, their colours, and whether they were blinking or steady. I really couldn’t tell what their real aim was, but there’s no way they were legit BT staff or connected to British Telecom. Feels like it was some kind of scam to me.
