Sounds like another one of those telesales calls tied to Gumtree ads. The person on the other end was really rude and just completely ignored the ad’s rules about advertising. If you put “NO ADVERTISERS” right at the end of your listing, you'd expect decent firms to stay away from calling you, but apparently not in this case. Number was blocked, no idea who it was.

Got a call from some pushy bloke pitching website ads after spotting my ad on Gumtree. He passed me onto their accounts person to process a payment, but when I told them I wasn’t up for buying anything right now, the guy started having a laugh at me. Then, out of nowhere, he just slammed the phone down. Proper rude telesales lot, that one.
