My 96-year-old mum got a call from this number about renewing the warranty on her washing machine. Thing is, her washing machine is over 15 years old so there’s no way it’s still covered. Mum’s on the TPS list anyway. Luckily, even at her age she knows a scammy call when she hears one and she just hung up. This isn’t the first time in the last few days she’s been called about a warranty renewal - the previous one was from some company called ‘its ok’ based in Brighton and it sounded like the same sort of scam.
