Today, I received a call from this number, and to my surprise, the caller already knew my name and address. She claimed to represent Home Tech and was inquiring about my television's breakdown coverage. Apparently, since I hadn't made any claims in over a year, they were able to present me with a tempting two-year plan at a lower rate. While I have had breakdown cover before, it wasn't in recent times and certainly not with their company, implying they've sourced my information from another channel. Unsurprisingly, I decided to end the conversation right then and there.

They claimed to be from a satellite dish cover company, saying they could lower my payments. Oddly enough, they wanted my bank details, yet they couldn't provide any written confirmation! Quite suspicious, if you ask me.

I rang them back and it appeared that I could take my number off the list by inputting it. Can’t say for certain if it’ll actually do the trick, though!

I seem to be receiving around three or four calls daily from this number, yet I’ve not picked up any of them. I tend to avoid answering calls from unfamiliar numbers. It's about time this incessant pestering was put to an end!

I simply picked up the phone, and the caller inquired if it was indeed me. I confirmed it was, only for them to abruptly end the call. Quite peculiar, really!
