Seems like alot of folks just assume the number is bad without even looking it up. If you google it, it’s from a company called Sons that deals with hair regrowth. There’s absolutely nothing sketchy about this number.

Got a call about a hair regrowth follow-up from Sons. They left a voicemail asking to ring back if there’s any problem with the meds. I’m already a Sons client, so didn’t think twice about it.

Some bloke said he was from Windows support, so I just kept him chatting for ages to mess with him. Asked me to open event viewer on my PC, probably to try and get me to pay for some fake problem. Definitely a con. If they ring you, have a laugh and try to keep them on the line as long as you can.

Got a recorded call saying it was from the Inland Revenue. Then a bit later I got the exact same message from a different landline number, looked like it started with 0161.

Different versions of this number keep ringing me up, something about working with Yell[###]. I’ve had about 10 calls so far and blocked every single one. I’ve told them to quit contacting me and mentioned GDPR laws, but they just keep coming through. Quite annoying!

Tried calling and asked for the business owner but was told they weren’t in, then just got cut off - bit cheeky if you ask me. Seems like when you ring back one of these number series, your phone bill shoots up and they probably snag your number if you’ve registered it with some business or service. Looks like this scam comes from India, cos I used to hear Indian voices but now they just cut off straight away. The government really needs to put a stop to these scams. If these auto-diallers make about a million calls daily and 250k people pick up or call back, that’s like £4 each, adding up to a million quid profit every day.

I was at work when a guy named Max, who said he was from some trading firm, phoned asking to talk to the company owner. When I told him who was in charge, he didn’t seem happy and just hung up on me. Then about an hour later, the same number called again, this time a different bloke called Samuel answered. I told them both to quit calling and to take my number off their list.

They called me twice today, first time they said it was for market research, next time claimed to be from Yell. Told them the first time I was too busy to do any surveys. They kept pushing, talking over me, saying it’d only take 5 minutes. I just ended the call. Then they called again, doing the same thing. They don’t even know my name, so there’s no way they’re really from Yell. Proper annoying!
