Received a rather peculiar call from someone named Nancy early this morning - 17th September 2019, at 10:58. At first, there was only silence on the other end, but the background noise was absolutely chaotic. Nancy, with an unmistakable Asian accent, was incredibly hard to follow; it was quite evident she was reading from a prepared script, and there was no stopping her flow! I found myself having to intervene and speak over her just to get a word in edgeways. I mentioned that I couldn’t make heads or tails of what she was saying, apart from her uttering her name, Nancy, and requested her to repeat herself. But alas, she just carried on regardless! At one point, she insisted, “I have TOLD you…” which was my cue to end the conversation. Best to steer clear of these callers!

They called claiming they were conducting a survey, but it all seemed rather dodgy-definitely felt like they were just trying to fish for personal information. I decided to cut the conversation short and hung up on them.

For the last week or so, I've been getting loads of calls on my phone from 0203409 25 xx numbers. I just don't pick up and block them since I've seen others saying they're scams, but they keep ringing me from slightly different numbers! The last two digits always change. I've had calls from 020 340925 26, 24, and 02 so far. Looks like it's all the one group.

I received a call from someone purporting to be affiliated with the UK Trade Register, supposedly collaborating with Yell.com. This individual asked me various questions, and funnily enough, he already had my name and address. He was of Indian origin. When I began to challenge him a bit, he promptly cut the line! I've since made sure to block that number.
