02034092436 - Got a call from a call centre claiming to be from Yell[###]. They kept asking if I was the owner of the business and wanted me to confirm stuff that’s all online anyway. When I asked what they were actually after, they started asking how long our website’s been up and if I had permission to make website decisions. Told them we weren't interested and he just ended the call with an “ok goodbye.” Definitely not legit Yell[###] calling.

Got a call from a bloke with a subcontinental accent saying he was ringing from Yell[###], asking if I ran a business. Felt dodgy right away as he refused to say how he found my number. Pretty sure it was a scam.

Since they clearly had no clue about the place they were calling, I declined to engage. The call centre was really loud, i had to say hello like 4 times before anyone picked up. Asked to talk to the business owner but they weren’t about, then wanted to speak with someone who could make decisions. When i asked what it was about, he laughed and said it was something to do with the business being more visible online. I just told them we weren’t interested and ended the call.
