Got a call from a bloke claiming to be Albert, said he was from Carphone Warehouse. Total scam! He wanted my email so he could send some ‘great deal’ confirmation but the grammar in his email was dreadful. Plus, the sender's email had ‘carphoneswarehouses’ with an extra 's' on the end - that set my alarm bells ringing. I rang up the real Carphone Warehouse just to check, and they told me it wasn’t them at all. If you’re not as sceptical as I am, it could easily fool you, so be careful!

This is definitely a rip-off. They’ll shoot you an email that looks like it’s from Carphone Warehouse, but if you look closely, the address is off - something like carphoneswarehouses instead of the real one. What’s sneaky is they’ll also put a link to the genuine website in the email, so it tricks you into thinking it’s legit.
